Baldwin County Sheriff Huey Hoss Mack said a tip line is already getting clues in the beating and robbery of Bobby Wilson.The sheriff was one of the people who packed Providence United Methodist Church in Spanish Fort Wednesday night to attend a prayer service for the store owner.
The church's pastor, Reverend Bob Sweet, said, "We just wanted to lift him up in prayer, to ask God's healing for him, to help him be restored as soon as possible."
Concerning the investigation, Sheriff Mack said, "We are pursuing leads. We have started to get some telephone calls in on our tip line since today, so investigators are working this evening, out following up on those. We're interviewing, even re-interviewing some people to make sure that we have done everything."
Sheriff Mack said the task force investigating Wilson's beating will meet again Thursday morning to coordinate efforts throughout the week and weekend.
A reward is now being offered in the case. Friends of Bobby Wilson have put up $32,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Nine state, county and local police agencies are investigating the unsolved crime.
Bobby Wlson is still in critical condition.
