Traffic Stop Leads To Meth Lab Bust In Motel

suspected methamphetamine lab exploded inside a cottage in Ocean
Springs, Mississippi.
Police said another man was in custody after yesterday's
(Thursday) incident.
The explosion was in the Gulf Park Estates area.
Sergeant Curtis Spiers, commander of the Narcotic Task Force of
Jackson County, says after firefighters put out the blaze, they
found a meth lab.
Spiers says 28-year-old Jonathan Moses, 28, was allegedly using
propane to manufacture ammonia to make methamphetamine when an
electric spark ignited the explosion.
Spiers says Moses was airlifted to the University of South
Alabama Burn Center in Mobile. His condition was unknown.
Spiers says 28-year-old Micah Turnley fled the scene but was
arrested several hours later by Gulfport police.
Spiers says Moses and Turnley were each charged with one count
of manufacturing methamphetamine. Spiers says Turnley was under
house arrest in Gulfport on previous meth-related charges.
