The Mobile County Sheriff's Office arrested a Wilmer couple accused of running a meth lab in a shed behind their home. Around 8:45 Tuesday night, Sheriff’s deputies got a tip about a possible meth lab explosion at a home on Jim Tom Circle in Wilmer. When they arrived, investigators found a working meth lab in a shed behind the home. They also found drug paraphernalia, ammunition and 18 guns, many of which had altered serial numbers inside the home.
Deputies arrested Jeffrey and Tammy Parker. They' re charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and altering the identification of a firearm. The couple will also face a felony charge of chemical endangerment of a child because a minor was in the home at the time of their arrest.
