Randy McKinney was the top vote getter in Tuesday night's Republican primary. But he did not earn enough votes to win the race outright. He will now face Trip Pittman in a runoff on September 11th. The winner will take on the lone Democratic candidiate, former Prichard Mayor A.J. Cooper, in the general election on October 16th.Randy McKinney 5562 36.0%
Trip Pittman 4568 29.6%
David Ed Bishop 2242 14.5%
Albert Lipscomb 2209 14.3%
Don McGriff 850 5.5%

Randy, you will win! You are one of few who is truly concerned with the tax payers. I rec’d a zillion harrassing phone calls from Bishop after I told one of his callers I was voting for YOU, however, I stood firm….nothing he or “they” said could change my mind.
