A Kennewick, Washington woman appeared in court Monday afternoon, accused of first-degree murder.
Authorities say the suspect, 23-year-old Phiengchai Sisouvanh,stabbed Araceli Camacho Gomez to death late Friday night, and cut her full-term fetus from Gomez's womb. If found guilty, the only sentences Sisouvanh can receive are the death penalty or life in prison, without the possibility for parole.
Investigators say Sisouvanh called emergency dispatch, claiming she had just given birth, and that the baby had died.
Police say the victim's hands and feet appeared to have been bound by yarn.
When investigators looked inside the defendant's purse, they found mechanic's gloves, a box cutter, baby bottle, and baby socks.
The baby is currently on life support at a Spokane hospital.

You hit the nail on the head, my friend. I could not agree with you more. I remember when the word “abortion” would draw gasps from people when mentioned out loud. Now, it’s as common as someone going through a drive-thru. Sad, sad, sad.

PS. You should lose some weight, too. It will help prevent diabetes, heart disease, knee/back problems, and much more.

This same thing happened a few years ago when a woman pretended to be interested in purchasing a dog from a pregnant girl. The lady pretending to want a dog did this exact same thing but took the baby to her family and claimed she gave birth to the baby. This world is such a tragic place isn’t it? Everywhere you look there’s something horrible going on. Even worse things like this don’t even shock us anymore! How sad that we come to expect this type of behavior from people. There was a time when something like this would have sent shock waves through the media. Pregnant women have enough to worry about without having to worry about crazy people attacking them for their unborn babies. God Help Us All.

Weight don’t have nothing to do with it!!! She is just sick!! Maybe she couldn’t have kids?? Who knows!!! Just because you are overweight doesn’t mean that you can’t find someone to love and have kids with!! I’m overweight and I have 2 beautiful kids, and guess what my husband is skinny!! So weight doesn’t have nothing to do with it, she just has some mental issues and problems!!! She needs to go to jail for what she did!!! I hope the baby makes it!!
