Mobile Fire Fighters put out a 2 Alarm fire late Monday night. It took fire fighters about an hour to put out the fire at 100 Michael Donald Avenue that began around 9:40p.m.
According to Mobile Fire Rescue spokesman Steve Huffman, the home has been vacant for about 3 years.
Neighbors tell fire officials people that do not belong there have been seen going in and out of the home for some time.
Huffman says it appears the fire began on the second floor of the two story building and caused the roof to collapse.
Other buildings next to the blaze were protected by fire fighters and undamaged.
No one was hurt by the fire.
