NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - Forecasters now say Fay's path over land and
water could mean it could hit Florida three separate times. The
storm has traversed east across the state after first hitting the
Florida Keys and could curve back to the Florida-Georgia border. It
has flooded streets, downed trees, and knocked out power along the
way.

My question has anyone else thought it strange that they have this storm hooking a left once it hit the mainland???  I have always thought storms hooked a right once they were no longer over the water, something about the counter clockwise rotation and being over land???  I have just found this projected path to be weird.  Just wondering if I was the only one???

What does the clock like symbol mean? The one that starts at the Florida-Georgia line and moves across Alabama? When do we expect a GOOD idea as to what this thing is going to do?
