former HealthSouth CEO as placed in the Shelby County Jail after a
U.S. District Judge ordered him moved from a federal prison camp in
Texas.
Next week, Scrushy is scheduled to answer questions under oath
in Birmingham federal court regarding fraud allegations involving a
lawsuit filed by HealthSouth stockholders.
The former executive has served also almost one year of a 6
year, 10 month sentence in an unrelated case for bribing former
Governor Don Siegelman.
