BAY MINETTE, Ala. (AP) - A judge has sentenced a Robertsdale manto eight life sentences plus 40 years for sex crimes that involved
two 8-year-old relatives.
Baldwin County Circuit Judge Charles Partin described Raymond Charles Styron's crimes as some of the "most egregious" he has seen.
A jury found Styron, 45, guilty in April of 12 sex-related
charges, including rape, sodomy and sexual torture. Prosecutors
alleged he engaged in dozens of sexual acts with the girl for about
three years and the boy for about a year.
Styron was arrested in June 2006. His attorney, James Sweet,
argued Wednesday before the sentencing that Styron didn't have a
criminal record and had cooperated with investigators.

NOW THIS IS WORTH COMMENTING ON!!!! This is the first time I have ever seen the system show justice for the victims. I can only hope and pray that more judges will crack down on child molesters and rapist as this judge has, and set an example. Judge Charles Partin, I commend you, and the judgment you passed on this sick being.
