Bicyclist in serious condition after accident in Escambia County, Florida. Bicyclist Hit By Fleeing Driver

Florida Highway Patrol are looking for a vehicle that fled the scene after hitting a Cantonment man on his bicycle Monday night. It happened just after 9:30pm on 9 Mile Road near Pine Forest Road in Escambia County, Florida. Jacob Hawkins, age 30, is listed in serious condition at Sacred Heart Hospital after being thrown off his bicycle. There's no description of the driver who fled the scene or the vehicle they were driving. If you have any information on this accident please call the Florida Highway Patrol.
