rmseek1234 that is the general area yes, not just the Mobile Home Park, but that whole area is considered “Pine Springs”. Don’t surprise me they found her truck burnt up if she was labeled as a snitch, however,I would not be surprised if they never found her body. You can’t do any favors for the police, and expect to still live in the same town, thats why they created the “witness protection program”. People got to remember that high profile drug dealers don’t live by the law, and can pay some addict a few hundred dollars worth of dope to have you gone. It’s sad, but this is the world we live in.

Isn’t Pine Springs that mobile home park on Padgett Switch at Two Mile? Sounds like another good reason to stay away from drugs, if that was the case.

well, they say that they found her car in some place called Pine Springs… and that it was burned beyond recognition.  Now, they are searching for her body.  Something tells me that she should have known that something would have happened in a small town like Bayou La Batre.  I hate to be the one that says it.

I hear that the police know she is dead, but are trying to find her body. From what I have heard the police got her to nark on some people drug dealers,so they killed her.

so, around town there is word that this girls car was found, but not her..  anyone have any new news about this story??  can anybody give us an update??

I hope they find her..  for her family, but something tells me that they aren’t looking for her at all.  I live in Bayou La Batre and have not heard a word about her missing, until yesterday morning.  I recently saw a poster at the BP here and that was it.  I am glad, DEW26M, that you changed your life, it is sad that she couldn’t.

Girlygrl12, thank you, now I know where I know her from. I used to live that lifestyle,chasing drugs, some of us grow wise. The others DIE stupid. That’s about right for the Bayou Police, they prob talked her into snitching, then told the people she snitched on. If this is the case, look for her in the bayou, or in and around Fernland Rd.

Her maiden name is Stokes, and yea, she has tons of drug abuse history.  I hope they find her, but when you rat out a bunch of drug dealers who is to say what caould have happened to her.

Anyone know her maiden name? She’s looks really familiar. Not saying that I seen her recently, I’m just curious as to who she is. Kinda odd she would just up and be gone, and leave 2 kids behind. Does anyone know of any history of drug abuse?
