Kimberly Curth - Weekend Anchor / Reporter

Kimberly Curth - Weekend Anchor / Reporter Kimberly will be the first to tell you she has the best job in the world, and she feels honored to be able to tell the stories of those living along the Gulf Coast. Kimberly was named "Best Reporter" in the State of Alabama by The Associated Press twice for her work, in 2007 and in 2004. When she's not out in the field chasing down the big story, you can find her anchoring weekends on WKRG News 5.

Kimberly arrived in Mobile in 2002, from WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida where she worked as a reporter and anchor. While in the Capital City, she covered the Florida recount vote for the 2000 Presidential election.

During her time here in Mobile, you've probably seen Kimberly reporting from the front lines as hurricane after hurricane has impacted the Gulf Coast.

Kimberly got her start in journalism at the University of Georgia where she majored in Broadcast News.

On her off days, Kimberly enjoys traveling to new places and going back home to Atlanta to visit with her family, she also enjoys training for charity road races and she's even been known to do a triathlon or two. After all that working out, you'll probably spot Kimberly enjoying all the incredible Gulf Coast restaurants with her friends.

If you have a story idea, feel free to send Kimberly an email at kcurth@wkrg.com or give her a call at 251-662-3011.
