Ed Dismukes
Congratulations Ed Dismukes, December WKRG Care Team Award Winner. Ed Dismukes had a vision for a wooded area behind Spanish Fort Elementary School and turned it into sports fields for the entire community. He donated time, materials, equipment and money to the effort as well as organized volunteers for the project. Now hundreds of children enjoy the park.

Ann Coffee
Congratulations Ann Coffee the WKRG Care Team award winner for November. Retired from the Arthritis Foundation, Ann Coffee still volunteers to help the juvenile arthritis patients at Children’s Rehabilitation Services. Ann loves to cook so she prepares and serves meals at the two day clinic for the children and their families. The October WKRG Care Team award winner isThe Rileigh and Raylee Foundation. They provide financial assistance to families in the Mobile, Baldwin and surrounding areas who have children with special medical needs. Seminole Volunteer Fire Department
Congratulations to The Seminole Volunteer Fire Department September's WKRG Care Team award winner. The Seminole Volunteer Fire Department is truly a family affair. The Ping Family and other volunteers, led by chief, Kenny Ping, not only fight fires, but are also called to car accidents and other rescue situations. They are always on call and willing to lend a helping hand.

Rus Golden
Baldwin EMC and WKRG, the WKRG Care Team, would like to congratulate Rus Golden as this month’s WKRG Care Team award winner. Rus is from Sioux City Iowa. He and his wife Mary Alice come to the Baldwin Baptist Camp from October to May each year where he serves as supervisor of volunteers. His tireless work ethic and willingness to do whatever needs to be done is greatly appreciated by everyone at the camp.

Congratulations to Marilyn Sabin, this month’s Care Team award winner. Marilyn volunteers six hours a week at the Adult Education class at Harvest Church. She works full time at another job, but she is committed to helping adults prepare for the GED exam which helps them obtain better jobs.

The Lighthouse
