Three Suspects in Custody After Chase Ends in Spanish Fort Neighborhood

SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WKRG) — Three theft suspects are in custody after a chase in Baldwin County on Monday.

Spanish Fort Police were called just before 1:00 p.m. after the suspects were reported to be shoplifting at Kohl’s.

Officers then chased the suspects in what police said was a stolen vehicle.

The suspects got out of the vehicle on Caisson Trace in the Spanish Fort Estates neighborhood.

Deputies with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office assisted Spanish Fort Police as they searched for the suspects.

Two of the suspects, Kearston Alexandria Howze, 19, of Mobile, and a juvenile female from Mobile, were arrested about 20 minutes after authorities began searching the neighborhood.

A third suspect, Parnell Treymaine Scott, 19 of Mobile, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. after catching a ride with someone to a nearby Walmart. That person was unaware Scott was wanted by police.

All three suspects are facing charges of theft, receiving stolen property and attempting to elude.
