Florida evacuees can apply for FEMA assistance in Alabama

(WIAT) – Florida evacuees in Alabama can now apply for assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Evacuees do not have to wait until they return home to apply for assistance, they can do so while in Alabama.

To apply for assistance, call 1-800-621-3362 (FEMA). You can also visit the Disaster Assistance website to see if your area has been declared to receive individual assistance.
