MOBILE, AL (WKRG)

8:25 a.m. – Looking at your Tuesday morning commute we’re still looking good crossing the Bayway and Causeway and through the tunnels, but a number of accidents occurred in Mobile.  Accidents including the intersections of Cottage Hill University, the exit ramp from I-10 eastbound to Rangeline Road, University at Ziglar and Overlook at University. Mobile police on the scene of those accidents.  It looks like a new accident I-65 Southbound at the 12 mile marker, Chickasaw police working that accident. In Pensacola still a number of accidents on Pensacola Boulevard there north of I-10

7:54 a.m. –  It’s not been a bad commute this morning on the Bayway and Causeway even with the wet driving conditions.  We’re still moving along nicely and through the tunnels no problems there. Alabama Highway Patrol reporting an accident Highway 43 southbound about two miles north of Salco Road (apparently a truck left the roadway). Mobile Police on the scene of a fender bender Airport Blvd at Jackson Street. A number of accidents in Pensacola including North Palafox at Memory Lane, Pine Forest Road at West Roberts Road, Highway 29 at West Nine One Half Mile Road and West Nine Mile Road at Pensacola Boulevard.

7:27 a.m. – We continue to see wet driving conditions on your Tuesday morning commute but we’re still moving along pretty well on the bay way and Causeway right now without any accidents or delays or any need for an alternate route moving along well through both tunnels as well Alabama Highway Patrol reporting an accident in North Baldwin County on I-65 Southbound around the 45-mile marker car ran off of the roadway but thankfully no entries In Pensacola a new accident South Blue Angel Parkway in front of the Walmart

6:55 a.m. – Not a bad start for your Tuesday morning commute even with the wet driving conditions.  We’re still moving along well on the Bayway and Causeway as traffic volume has picked up there, no problems through either of the tunnels. Both Mobile Police and Alabama Highway Patrol reporting no accidents that they’re working at this time. We’re still seeing some rain along I-65 in North Baldwin County so we’re seeing some slower speeds there. In Pensacola and new accident  in Milton on Avalon Boulevard just north of I-10, but I-10 to I-110 looks pretty good.

6:30 a.m. – As you have likely already noticed, it is a pretty wet start to your Tuesday morning commute. Here on the Bayway things are pretty wet crossing both directions, but we’re still moving along pretty well and no complaints right now through the tunnels. Of course watch your speeds out here. We had an earlier accident there at the 23 mile marker on I-65 in the median where a car left the roadway. Creola Police on the scene but it’s not really affecting traffic too much. Looking good I-10 to I-65 and no accidents in the downtown area. In Pensacola, Florida Highway Patrol and the scene of an accident with little bit of roadblock there at Beverly parkway at Rock Island Place. Pensacola police reporting no accidents

6:05 a.m. – Give yourself an extra few minutes to get where you need to go due to the wet conditions. We’re moving along pretty well even with the wet driving conditions on the Bayway and Causeway. We’re still accident-free through both tunnels.  Highway Patrol just got a report of a vehicle in the center median there of I-65 near the 23 mile marker. That’s in the Creola area so we might see some delays there, they’re headed the scene. No problems though at I-10 to I-65 and we’re still accident free right now in the Downtown Mobile area and no problems in Pensacola

5:50 a.m. – Good morning. It is a wet start for many as you head out the door this morning including those that have to travel on the Bayway or Causeway.  Watch your speeds there but so far this morning it seems to be flowing along nicely both directions and no problems through either a tunnel as well. There was an earlier accident westbound I-10 coming out of the George Wallace tunnel and between Virginia Street. Mobile Police was able to clear that fender bender so no more delay there. No issues coming down I-65. Mobile police reporting no accidents in the downtown area and we’re looking good right now in Pensacola as well

5:30 a.m. –  It is a wet start to your Tuesday morning commute so you might want to give yourself an extra few minutes to get out on the roadways this morning.  They Bayway and Causeway looks good with no problems or delays there and through the tunnels. However Mobile police got a report of an accident I-10 Westbound between the exit of the tunnel and Virginia Street. It’s just a fender bender and it doesn’t seem to be affecting traffic too much but they are headed to the scene of the accident there. Alabama Highway Patrol reporting no accidents and we’re looking good coming down I-65. In Pensacola things are rolling along smoothly to start off your morning commute.

5:06 a.m. – Good morning.  A good-looking start for your early Tuesday on the Bayway and Causeway. Things are flowing along nicely without any problems or delays both directions. Through the tunnels were looking good as well. A couple fender benders in Mobile including Burning Tree Court at Quail Hollow Run, Mobile Police there.  Alabama Highway Patrol at Highway 90 and Hall Road. Both of those accidents are just fender-benders and Wreckers are headed to the scene. We’re accident free coming down I-65 right now and no trouble spots to begin your Tuesday.
