Bourbon Street Whisky Oysters

4 dozen oysters
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon minced garlic
12 quartered mushrooms
1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s Whisky
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon Montreal steak or house seasoning
1 stick butter
1/2 cup lump crabmeat
2 loaves french bread
Garlic butter

Heat saute’ pan; coat in olive oil. Dust oysters in flour; pan and saute’.
Add garlic and mushrooms, deglaze pan with whisky, add cream and reduce.
Finish with Montreal crab and adjust seasoning as needed. Pour over toasted french
bread.
