A group of teenagers took to Downtown Mobile Friday night to voice their anger and concern over mounting gun violence.
The “Teen Talk” was organized by the boys and girls club looking specifically on youth crimes.
“We tried to come around and spitball a few ideas of what can we do to prevent the teen gun violence going on in the city. We came together and we said let’s just talk. Hopefully someone hears us,” said Giovanni Bernabe, Art Director and Organizer for the Boys and Girls Club.
Mobile Police say this year alone a dozen teens were victims to homicide. On the other end 13 teens arrested for gun related offenses.
