Over twenty employers will be on the campus of Bishop State Community College Wednesday to participate in a job fair being held by the Mobile Career Center.
The job fair will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. on December 7th at the campus on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in downtown Mobile.
“Our career center works every day to put people back to work. Bringing together a large number of employers and a large number of job seekers is a good way to help show the community what jobs are available in the area as well as to introduce employers to our local workforce,” said Derrick Turner, the manager of Mobile Career Center, about the Winter Job Fair in a press release.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and to dress professionally.
Employers scheduled to attend the job fair include: Alorica, Battle House/Grand Hotel, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Enterprise Holdings (EHI), Alabama Department of Corrections, Cintas, Mobile Infirmary, Lincoln Electric, Goodwill Easter Seals, Regions Bank, Sears, Ingalls Shipbuilding, DIP Hair, Mobile County Personnel Board, and the Veterans Administration, among others.
The Alabama Department of Labor is also helping to put on the job fair Wednesday.
