GULF SHORES, AL (WKRG) — The line-up for next year’s Hangout music festival in Gulf Shores has been released.
Mumford & Sons, Twenty One Pilots, Frank Ocean, and Chance the Rapper are the four major headliners for the Alabama music festival, which is slated for May 19-21 of 2017.
Joining the four headliners is Major Lazer, Weezer, DJ Snake and MGMT.
In festival, which continues to grow in size and popularity, was headlined last year by The Weeknd, Florence + The Machine and Panic! at the Disco. Calvin Harris, a popular DJ, was supposed to headline, but was injured in a car accident the day before the performance.
There was hope among fans that Harris would return to Hangout the following year, but he wasn’t included in Tuesday’s announcement.
Other notable performers at Hangout 2017 include Dillion Francis, Shaggy and Franz Ferdinand.
