Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Unusual Carjacking

Two men say they’re thankful this holiday to still be alive after being robbed at gunpoint.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Deputies say they responded to a home on 11000 block of Henderson Camp Road in Grand Bay around 9 this morning.  Burnell Sewers lives at the residence, he and a friend, Sylvester Hunt were getting ready to leave to a Thanksgiving gathering.  As they were packing up food, a woman Sewers recognized came to the door. Just shortly afterward another woman, and a man possibly in a mask burst into the home.  The men say one of them was holding a gun, and ordered them to strip down, and hand over money.

Deputies tell us they believe the suspects were able to drive off with a black 2016 Mazda 3 that belonged to Sylvester Hunt.  Authorities describe the suspects as two black women, and a black man, they’re considered armed and dangerous.  The Sheriff’s Office is asking if you have any information to please contact dispatch.
