Mobile County School Officials Respond to Viral Bully Video

Mobile County Public School officials are responding to a viral video of an apparent bullying incident.  The video shows a student being pursued, pushed, hit and yelled at by some other students in a hallway.  The person who posted the video says the incident happened at Semmes Middle School and it appears the original post dates back to November 13th.  In a Saturday night post on the school system’s Facebook Page page a response was written:

“Mobile County Public Schools officials are aware that a video is circulating Facebook showing bullying at Semmes Middle School. Disciplinary actions were taken when the incident took place. Matters like this are very serious and unacceptable in our schools. We urge everyone to report bullying and threats of bullying.”

The video has generated thousands of shares, reactions, and comments since it was posted.
