FOLEY, AL- For the second time in a week, law enforcement officers executed search warrants at properties in Foley and confiscated drugs.
Foley police seized marijuana from a house on North Alston Street Tuesday night. Laboran Pickens was charged with illegal gun possession and marijuana possession.
Two other men, Freddie Pickens and Timothy Salter, were arrested on outstanding warrants.
The police department admits this wasn’t their biggest or most high-profile drug bust, but officers hope it sends a message to the criminal element about the city’s zero tolerance drug policy.
Last week, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office raided B & R Tires and Automotive in Foley and confiscated meth and heroin. Several people were arrested on drug charges in that investigation.
