According to the Auburn Athletic Department, the 2016 edition of the Iron Bowl will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. from Tuscaloosa and CBS will televise the broadcast.
The game will be played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, November 26.
Alabama, who is the #1 team in the country, will most likely head into the game undefeated, but after an Auburn loss this past weekend, the game will not have the same luster.
#18 Auburn Tigers lost to Georgia in Athens on Saturday which eliminated the Tigers from SEC Championship contention. As a result, the Crimson Tide became the SEC West Division Champions.
Alabama will be a heavy favorite when the betting lines are released next week. However, Auburn has a 7-3 record in Tuscaloosa, including a 5-3 record since Alabama moved its home game in the series from Birmingham to campus in 2000.
Both teams will play a game this weekend before they collide in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide will return home again to face Chattanooga and the Auburn Tigers will host Alabama A&M.
News 5 will have Iron Bowl coverage starting next week including a 30-minute special, “Battle for Braggin’ Rights”, that will air Thanksgiving Day and the following day.
