ORANGE BEACH, AL- The Orange Beach Police Dept. arrested four teenagers accused of using cars parked at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market as target practice.
Misdemeanor, criminal mischief charges were upgraded to felonies when the teens shot at an occupied car. A Wal-Mart employee working the night shift Thursday morning was taking a nap on his lunch break when his back window was shot out.
The teens, who are 18 and 19 years old, have been charged with shooting a projectile or missile into an occupied vehicle and criminal mischief.
Police also say the bb guns were realistic looking weapons and could have ended badly if they pulled them on police or on a civilian carrying a real firearm.
