The spouses of the Democratic Presidential ticket are focused on the battleground state of Florida this week. On Monday, Anne Holton, the wife of democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, made a stop in Pensacola. And this weekend, former President Bill Clinton will make a stop in northwest Florida.
A press release from “Hillary For America” said President Clinton will launch a bus tour from Orlando this Friday. The “Stronger Together” tour will make stops in Jacksonville and Bay County, before ending in Pensacola on Saturday.
Mr. Clinton is urging Americans to vote for his wife, former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in the November General Election.
During a campaign stop in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Mr. Clinton said, “I just try to tell people why they ought to be for her. Why she’d be a good president. What’s in it for you and your children and grandchildren. Why it will be better for our future.”
The campaign has not released specific details about the visit, other than to indicate it will be Saturday afternoon. Supporters are urged to sign up for notifications about the event, online. For more information, click HERE.
