Sewer Overflow in Halls Mill Creek

Sewer Spill Notice: Daphne Utilities

The Mobile County Health department has issued an advisory for residents in the Halls Mill area after approximately 1,200 gallons of wastewater overflowed into Halls Mill Creek.  Residents are advised to wash their hands and clothing thoroughly if they come in contact with any standing water or untreated sewage that may have accumulated as a result of this overflow.  All seafood harvested in this general area should be thoroughly cooked, and people should wash their hands after cleaning seafood and before preparing food.

MAWSS has made repairs to the damaged force main.
