The streets of Downtown Mobile were packed Friday night, with thousands of people coming out for the first day of the 1065 Music Festival.
This is the second straight year of the festival, after being put together in just 10 days last year. Now with a full year of planning, 28 bands will perform over three days on three different stages.
And it’s free.
“This year we had more time to plan it, the sponsors are back on board and it is different than Bayfest, it is free, so I am really excited and I think Mobilians are excited,” said Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson.
Performance begin Saturday at 2 p.m. Click here for a full lineup of acts.
