MOBILE, AL (WKRG) — The proposal to scale back first responder jurisdiction in Mobile County has been voted down by the City Council.
C.J. Small, Fred Richardson, and Levon Manzie were the council members who voted against the measure on Tuesday.
The proposed changes have been on the table for nearly a month and could have saved the city millions of dollars, according to Mayor Sandy Stimpson.
