Baldwin County has a new Distinguished Young Woman! Ashlynn Cate Fuqua won the competition Saturday night. She wowed the judges with her dancing talent, and her sparkle on stage.  She is a Senior at Mobile Christian School.  She also received some preliminary awards and tens of thousands of dollars in college scholarships.  She will take part in the state competition in January.  First Runner-Up was Whitney Williams from Robertsdale High School. Second Runner-Up was Logan Mavar from Central Christian High School. Third Runner-Up was Danielle Floyd fromRobertsdale High School, and First Runner-Up was Brianna Janey from Robertsdale High School.

There were fifteen young ladies in the competition. Talent ranged from dancers, pianists, singers, violinists, and even a speed painter. WKRG News 5’s Devon Walsh emceed the event for the 15th Year.dyw-1
