2 Killed in Crash in South Mobile County


Alabama State Troopers are investigating a deadly crash Sunday night that claimed the lives of two people.

The crash happened on Bellingrath Road, about three miles west of Mobile, around 7:15 p.m. Sunday night.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash that killed both drivers. The drivers of the vehicles were Geremy Bowden, a 25-year-old from Theodore, and Frank Dickens, a 37-year-old from Theodore.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Bowden was driving a 1997 Lexus ES300 that collided with a 2001 Ford F-150, which was driven by Dickens. Following the crash, Bowden was pronounced dead at the scene and Dickens was transported to a USA Medical Center where he later died.

State Troopers are continuing to investigate the accident.
