Flash Flood Watch For Parts of Alabama, Florida and Mississippi

The radar scan for the northern Gulf of Mexico looks ugly.
Lots of green, yellow, orange and red. Heavy rains are expected this week and the threat prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood watch through Friday morning.

Many counties are under this watch including:

  • Mobile, AL
  • Baldwin, AL
  • Escambia, FL
  • Santa Rosa, FL
  • Okaloosa, FL
  • Stone, MS
  • George, MS

Moderate and heavy rains are expected. The storm system could dump anywhere from five to ten inches of rainfall this week.
