Two brothers from Mississippi were arrested Friday afternoon following a drug investigation that concluded they were trafficking crystal methamphetamine (meth) into the Mobile area. The investigation was completed by the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team (MCSENT), a division of the Mobile Police Department.
On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, officers executed search warrants at three locations and apprehended the two brothers, according to Mobile Police.
29-year-old Lorenzo Hickman and 20-year-old Dangelo Hickman were arrested and charged with trafficking meth and carrying a pistol without a permit. When they were arrested, they were trafficking a kilogram of crystal meth from south Mississippi into Mobile.
The brothers also face numerous federal drug and firearm charges in both Mississippi and Alabama.
When executing the search warrants, investigators recovered over $3,000 in cash, multiple pistols, a Chevy pickup truck and the kilogram of meth mentioned earlier.
Both suspects are still currently in Mobile Metro Jail.
