FAIRHOPE, AL- Police support and trust are at an all-time “low” in some communities.
That’s why many agencies are trying to build stronger relationships with the public. In Baldwin County, the sheriff’s office is holding its annual “Shining Star” youth camp in Fairhope this week.
The interactive camp teaches kids about police work and helps them build better relationships with law enforcement officials.
If you missed this week’s camp, there are two more chances to catch Shining Star camps this summer. Camps will be held in Robertsdale and Bay Minette.
