NAVARRE, FL- Monday turned out to be a pretty good beach day despite Tropical Storm Colin moving through the Gulf.
Scattered showers and clouds greeted beachgoers early, but by late afternoon, folks enjoyed plenty of sunshine.
The only problems associated with the storm are rough surf and life-threatening rip currents. Lifeguards have posted red flags. Surf conditions could be dangerous for another 24 to 36 hours.
Lifeguards are letting surfers in the Gulf, but not swimmers. Swimmers out past their ankles are being told to leave the water.
