ORANGE BEACH, AL- Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange did not completely dismiss our question when we asked him if he was considering running for governor in 2018.

“I love the job I have and I’ve got plenty of time to think about the next step if that’s in the cards,” says Strange.

We caught up with the attorney general in Baldwin County Tuesday after he presented a “safe schools” award to Orange Beach Elementary.

Strange would not specifically talk about the Governor Bentley scandal, the upcoming trial of House Speaker Mike Hubbard or the suspension and possible removal of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, but the A.G. says the scandals and controversy are disturbing.

Strange, however, urges people in Alabama not to give up on the political system.

“I wouldn’t be discouraged just because of the failures of a very few people,” says Strange.
