Deadly Shooting in Okaloosa County

The Okaloosa County Sherriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting on Wednesday morning which involved an off-duty Escambia County deputy. It happened at 5:00 A.M. Investigators with Okaloosa County say the shooting started with a disturbance at a strip club on Santa Rosa Boulevard.

The off-duty deputy and another man were hurt in a fight at the Red Rose Gentleman’s Club. The fight continued across the street in a condominium parking lot. Shots were fired and a third man from Okaloosa County was injured and later died at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. The press release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office does not say who fired the shots. We do know the sheriff’s office is investigating as well as the State Attorney’s Office.Deadly Shooting in Okaloosa County, FL Investigators say the deputy and the other man will recover from their injuries.
