It was a scary situation a local high school Wednesday.
Officials said they had to put Satsuma High School on lockdown, after receiving what they believed to be a credible threat.
They won’t elaborate on the nature of the threat or where it came from, but law enforcement from multiple agencies showed up at the school.
After about an hour authorities determined the school to be safe and lifted the lockdown.
Police say they’re investigating and charges are possible.
“We are investigating charges of terroristic threat. There could possibly be an arrest. We are going to pursue it with that agenda and present it to the DAs office if we are able to maintain the identity of a suspect,” said Satsuma Police Chief Chris McClean
