Willams Shines In South Alabama Win

The South Alabama basketball team get a big win at the Mitchell Center thanks to a big game by Ken Williams.

The Jaguars guard scored 25 points in their in a win over Louisiana-Lafayette Saturday at the Mitchell Center.

USA shot 66.7 percent from the floor and 75.0 percent from 3-point land in the second half, for a season-high 57 points.

A big game by Williams normally signals a win for South.

When he scores 20 points or more, the Jaguars are 6-1 (5-1 Sun Belt) this season.

South Alabama has one more regular season before the Sun Belt conference tournament.

They’ll travel to Texas-Arlington on Thursday.
