Man from Milton killed in I-10 Crash

UPDATE 9:10 am

Daphne Police have identified the man killed in an early morning crash on I-10. Phillip Baker was killed in the wreck. Police say he had just docked his boat in Louisiana and was headed home.

Baker was thrown from the car and killed. Police say he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He was the only person in the truck.

The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined. A trucker ahead of Baker called 911 when he saw the accident at about 3:15 this morning.

One person is dead after a crash on I-10 eastbound at the 37-mile marker. Daphne PD said a truck rolled over and a person was thrown from the vehicle. I-10 EB is closed at exit 35 (Daphne), detour leads to Malbis exit. Police say it should be cleared by the morning commute. The crash happened at about 3:15 this morning
