GULF SHORES, AL- An anonymous complaint against Baldwin County School Board Vice-President Angie Swiger has been filed with the Alabama Ethics Commission.
The complaint alleges Swiger, who owns a Gulf Shores real estate company with her husband, has used her influence as an elected school board member over the years to coerce school employees into buying property through her company.
Swiger says she’s done nothing wrong.
“Anyone can file an anonymous complaint, it’s very easy to do, it’s an easy process and you have to have little substance to do it,” says Swiger.
Swiger confirmed she’s met with an ethics commission investigator.
The Alabama Ethics Commission is not commenting.
