Ashford Park
About 8 people attending an HOA meeting in this Foley subdivision were victims of a terrifying home invasion.

FOLEY, AL- Two armed robbers forced their way inside a homeowners association meeting in Foley last week.

The crime happened at a home inside the Ashford Park subdivision near Foley High School. The accused robbers are teenagers.

After the botched home invasion, investigators say 18-year old Corey Jones and 18-year old Darius Prim went to the Foley Walgreens and robbed a customer in the parking lot.

The police department’s fugitive tracking team caught the teens a few hours later.

Investigators say the teens were on a crime spree. The fugitives were trying to hide in Texas, but needed cash to finance their getaway.

Jones and Prim were on bond from previous robberies, in fact, police say Jones had cut off his court-ordered GPS ankle monitor just hours before the home invasion.

The teens were charged with robbery first, robbery second and menacing.
