Trump: “Election Not Based on Niceness”

As the primaries get closer, Donald Trump is now stepping up his campaign to clench the GOP nomination. This Saturday Trump made his stop in Biloxi.

“We are going to take our country back, we’ve lost our country.”

Tonight’s topics didn’t change much from what we heard in Mobile, although we saw a toned down version of Trump. He started off his speech taking aim at the Iran Nuclear deal.

“I don’t know if you’ve been seeing what’s been going on with Iran they violated the agreement already. I mean it is a few days after all. They violated one of the worst deals I’ve ever seen at any level.”

Other issues were along the lines of his key points – such as immigration.

“We can’t let these people take over our country.”

He also reiterated his message about the trade deficit.

“We got to straight out the country, we are 19 trillion dollars [in debt], we got to put the right people in place.”

And then the crowd roared when he talked about gun policy.

“There’s an assault on the second amendment, you know Obama is going to do an executive order and knock the hell out of it, no you see it, they’ve announced it. So he’s going to sign another executive order having to do with the second amendment having to do with guns, I will veto that, I will un-sign that so fast.”

And he warned that he would not win this race by being the nicest candidate, –but by being the smartest, and strongest.

“So let’s assume, in one way I’d rather run against [Hillary Clinton] than anybody else I can think of if you want to know the truth, but it is not fair because she shouldn’t be allowed to run.”

Trump was referencing Hillary Clinton’s role in the Benghazi attacks.  He also accused of her being inaccessible, out of touch with the public.  Trump closed his speech with cheers from around 13,000 people – as he promised to “Make America Great Again.”
