Donald Trump drew about 18,000 people to Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile as his campaign was taking off. And Saturday, the GOP front-runner will be in Biloxi at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
This Friday, crews were putting up the stage and adding extra seats. His campaign aides would not tell us how many people have already reserved tickets, but they say they’re ready for a packed house. Like the event in Mobile — this is looking to bring out thousands of people. The venue can seat up to 13,500 people. We talked with some making plans for Trump’s visit tomorrow.
“Well we’re pretty excited what Donald Trump has to say about everything, I’d like to hear really what he has to say about social security and medicare, and how he’s going to stabilize it,” said Dave and Diane Soldner, undecided voters who live part-time in Biloxi.
“Biloxi just like mobile gets a chance to show that you can host an event like this, you can handle the crowds, you can do it without incident, and it gives people, the rest of the country to the see the Mississippi Gulf Coast.”
” Mr. Trump loves the South, he loves the Gulf Coast, and I know he’s very excited to be here tomorrow night,” said George Gigicos, Trump Advance Team Dir.
The event begins at 7 pm and the doors open at 4. It is free and you can find tickets here.
