AT&T stadium is a little unusual, it’s a gigantic place smack dab in the middle of a suburb but it is a giant tourist attraction for people to enjoy the game. This is where fans get their tickets or get some sightseeing in. Between the sightseeing we did in Dealey Plaza to our own hotel we’re just seeing more Michigan state fans around than Alabama. Michigan State fan Daniel Solamman said Spartans have a rabid fan base. I asked Trussville native Greg England how he felt about Spartan outnumbering the Crimson Tide Nation.
“Here’s the problem,” said England. “There’s 45,000 behind us coming they got in today and we seen them all over the place it’s 45,000 heading this way. I asked Spartan fan Johanna Pscoda if she thought Alabama fans were getting too accustomed to championship trips.
“In all honesty, we don’t know we don’t care and we’re going to win,” said Psconda. In the end, it doesn’t matter which team has more fan but which team scores more points. It’s a hacky way to end the story but let’s see what happens Thursday night.
