Blue Bell ice cream returns to shelves Monday morning around Mobile. The Greer’s Cashsaver on Cottage Hill Road is one location where they expect to start stocking shelves at six Monday morning. Some stores were making room early Sunday morning clearing shelf space.
The Texas-based ice cream maker has slowly been returning to shelves around the Southeast region. This comes months after a massive product recall. An outbreak of listeria out was linked back to Blue Bell. It was associated with sending 10 people to hospitals and killing three people in Kansas.
At a cursory glance, it appears the company will have little problem regaining a Fanbase in Mobile. Many of the people I spoke with Sunday morning who cared about the ice cream at all were excited it was coming back. We will be live this morning at the Greer’s on Cottage Hill on News Five This Morning.
