A trip to the Iron Bowl was the hottest ticket in Alabama this weekend.
However, there were plenty of crowds in peoples’ homes Saturday for the rivalry game.
House Parties were plentiful around South Alabama with fans watching a game that never disappoints.
Even though Alabama were large favorites, Auburn fans were hoping the Tigers could spoil Alabama’s Playoff hopes.
“The only way I would have Alabama not to go to this game is if auburn beats them and hopefully we’ll beat them today, but that’s the key there,” said Andy Rippey who hosted a party.
While the game stayed close in the first half, Alabama pulled away in the second, securing their second straight Iron Bowl victory.
“It’s interesting to see how they are going to match up every year and it lived up to the billing and it was a battle to the end as usual,” said Van Baggette.
