New information revealed in court on Monday involving a young woman from Mobile, who police say, was shot and killed by her boyfriend. The crime happened Friday morning at the Ashford Place Apartments on Grelot Road. Mobile Police investigators say Kelwanna Bruno was shot five times with a .45 caliber handgun inside her apartment. The victim was 22-years-old. Police arrested Nicholas Jones the same day. Investigators say Jones called police after the shooting and stated he had a cocaine addiction. During his bond hearing on Monday, it was revealed the victim was three months pregnant with the suspect’s child.
