PENSACOLA BEACH, FL- Rough surf and life-threatening rip currents are serious concerns at beaches in the Florida panhandle following Monday’s storm, but weather conditions are slowly improving.
On Tuesday, we saw peeks of sunshine and less rain. The coastal flooding and beach erosion threats are also fading.
Clean-up crews have been busy at public beaches in both Florida and Alabama. Heavy equipment was brought in to remove piles of sand blown in off the beach into parking lots.
