Stabbings, Pepper Spray Part of Violent Fight in Tillman’s Corner

Mobile Police have made three arrests for a fight in Tillman’s Corner that included knives, pepper spray and a damaged vehicle.

Police arrested 35-year-old Billy Nobles, 32-year-old Kerri Ponder, and 33-year-old Joey Rinks for the altercation that took place Tuesday night on Oak Ridge Court.

According to police, officers arrived to the report of an assault and found two men with stab wounds, a woman who had been pepper sprayed, and a damaged vehicle.  Rinks is accused of at least one of the stabbings and Ponder is accused of using pepper spray on the female victim.  There is no word on what led to the violence between the arrested parties and the victims.

Rinks is charged with first-degree Assault, Ponder is charged with Criminal Use of Pepper Spray, and Nobles is charged with second-degree Criminal Mischief.

All three were booked at Mobile Metro Jail and then released.
